Missing Base Camp Already

I have decided to pack the night before. Who knew getting packed could be such a crazy process. Ladies if you are like me, you have to try it on with this and then with that, just to see if it fits right and looks decent. After the whole "trial" period of what to bring, I decided on a few outfits. Then I had to rationalize, how much space I wanted to save and how much I needed to fill. I pulled things out and then put them back in. Wondering things like, will it rain, will I really need 10 pairs of socks or just 6, will I have space left over for a Komodo? Thankfully and finally, I completed to task of getting packed. I stepped back and looked at my fabulous product and realized…just how big is that suitcase? I frantically searched for and found a tape measure. Stretching from one side to the other, I realized, yes, this will do! The next and final test would be the most torturous; the weight test. I snatched my scale from the bathroom and gently balanced it on the too-small-to-see-scale. Ahhh… TRIUMPH! Beat that; only 28 pounds of perfectly packed, pre-tried on, luggage! I am now able to say that I am officially packed and ready for China.
